The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail 100 is an ultra distance marathon that utilises the former Brisbane Valley rail line. The event offers a 200 mile, 100 mile, 100km and 50 mile ultra as well as a marathon and half marathon. Starting at the Yarraman Heritage Centre, the 100 mile event travels the entire Brisbane Valley Rail Trail to Brassall and finishes at the Ipswich Grammar School Playing Fields. The 200 mile event starts at the Ipswich Grammer School a day earlier and heads out to Yarraman where they turn and head back with the 100 mile participants.
